Aradia Pole Fitness on Liberia Avenue in Manassas will host an open house this week.
Aradia Fitness in Manassas will host an open house Friday to celebrate its grand opening. The pole dancing studio opened its doors earlier this month above Gold's Gym on Liberia Avenue. The free grand opening is from 7 to 9 p.m. and will feature dancing demonstrations and pole fitness performances, Melissa Rose, owner of the Manassas franchise of Aradia said. Two-time Super Bowl Champions for the Redskins, Gary Clark, Raven Caldwell, Big Ed Simmons, Clarence Vaughn were on hand to sign autographs at the grand opening of Gold's Gym on Liberia Avenue on Saturday.
Highlights at the grand opening included free body fat testing, free seated massage and activities for the kids, including a moonbounce and a Halloween costume contest. The gym, located on Liberia Avenue, opened in January, and recently expanded to a second level in July, adding an additional 15,000 sq. ft. of workout space for a grand total of over 30,000 sq. ft. The newly opened gym boasts a modern group exercise room, two circuit training areas, a cardio cinema room, cycling classes with new Real Ryder bikes, a private pole fitness studio and so much more. Gold's Gym is trying to get away from its traditional view as a 'muscle head gym,' and owner of the new Manassas location, Bob Rawlins has done just that. "We are anything but that," said owner Rawlins said. The new gym is two levels and is over 30,000 sq. ft., and offers conventional and unconventional training options.
