Charges Dismissed in Infant's Death at Bristow Daycare

A Manassas woman has been cleared of all criminal charges in connection with the March death of a 3-month-old baby girl at a Bristow home daycare, according to circuit court documents. Circuit Court Judge Mary Grace O'Brien dismissed the charges against Yolanda Gracella Larin on Monday, the day her trial on five courts of child endangerment was to begin. Joseph McGuire, Larin's attorney, said prosecutors in the case agreed that Larin was the least culpable of anyone involved. A message seeking comment from Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney Sandra Sylvester, who prosecuted the case, wasn't immediately returned.
