Police: "Significant" Injury After Fall Down Stairs, Assault

Suspect charged with malicious wounding, according to Prince William County Police.

Prince William County Police said a Manassas man seriously injured an acquaintance during an argument that turned violent. Derek Scott Lett, 22, of Teakwood Court in the Manassas area, is charged with malicious wounding.  Scott and the 27-year-old victim were arguing Wednesday night on the 10900 block of Postern Court in Manassas, when the altercation turned violent, police said. "During the encounter, the accused allegedly grabbed the victim, causing him to fall down a set of steps," Officer Jonathan Perok, a spokesman for the police department, said in a press release. Gainesville Man Cuts Roommate With Knife

Christian Isaac Graham, 38, was charged with malicious wounding and assault and battery.

A Gainesville man was charged after he swung a knife, causing cuts to his roommate's arm, Prince William County Police said.  Christian Isaac Graham, 38, of Vint Hill Road, was charged with malicious wounding and assault and battery.  His two roommates, who were 41 and 33-year-old males, reported that they were inside their home Thursday around 10 p.m. when they saw Graham outside, yelling. When they confronted Graham, he assaulted the 33-year-old, police said.  "The accused then became increasingly aggravated, and, at one point, retrieved a knife and began swinging toward both victims, cutting the 41-year-old victim, to his arm," police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok said in a press release. Police: Man Hit Victim in Face With Beer Bottle

Police are searching for the suspect who allegedly assaulted a Manassas man during an argument.

Prince William County Police are looking for a man who allegedly struck a Manassas man in the face with a beer bottle, then fled.  Police responded to a call for help on the 10200 block of Winchester Court in Manassas on Oct. 28 at 1:07 a.m. The two men had been involved in an argument which escalated, Prince William County Police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok said in a press release.  "During the encounter, the man struck the victim in the face with a beer bottle causing a severe laceration," Perok said in the release. "Following the altercation, the victim returned to his residence nearby where police located him."  The victim went to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said, while the suspect fled before police …

Police Searching for Three Men in Reported Assault

The three men reportedly assaulted a 52-year-old Manassas man, who was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Prince William County Police are on the lookout for three men who reportedly assaulted and tried to rob a Manassas man.  A 52-year-old man reported that he had parked his vehicle and was walking to his residence on the 7800 block of Apache Ridge Court near Ashton Avenue when three strangers approached him. They demanded that the victim hand over money, assaulted him, and then fled, police said.  The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries to his face, police said. Officers responded to the incident on Oct. 4, at 11:57 p.m., and dispatched a K-9 unit as they searched for the three men. Police: Woman Attacked Acquaintance With Keys, High-Heeled Shoe

Luz Besaida Machado Bolanos, 43, of Manassas, was charged with malicious wounding, assault and battery.

A Manassas woman was charged with assault and battery and malicious wounding after she attacked an acquaintance with her shoes and a high-heeled shoe, according to the Prince William County Police Department.  Luz Besaida Machado Bolanos, 43, of Manassas, was charged with malicious wounding and assault and battery on Sept. 17. The 45-year-old victim, a Gainesville resident, was driving in a parking lot on the 8300 block of Shoppers Square in Manassas when Machado Bolanos, an acquaintance, allegedly hit her with the keys and shoe. A 67-year-old female passenger in the car tried to break up the fight and Machado Bolanos struck her as well, police said in a press release.  Both victims had minor injuries. Police Seek More Information in Reported Hit-and-Run

Police are investigating after a 19-year-old Manassas man was allegedly run down by a suspect.

Police in Prince William County are looking for a suspect and a vehicle allegedly used to run down a 19-year-old Manassas.  Prince William County public information officer Jonathan Perok said officers responded to the area of Spriggs and Hoadly roads on Saturday at 2:54 a.m. They were informed that the victim, a 19-year-old Manassas man, and a known acquaintance had been involved in a physical altercation with an unknown suspect in the above area. The suspect returned to his vehicle during the encounter and allegedly struck the victim as he and his acquaintance attempted to run from the suspect. The suspect fled the area in the vehicle prior to police arrival, Perok said. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was treated…
