Young Catholics React: New Pope Francis is "Like a Shot of Holy Spirit Juice"

The Seton School in Old Town Manassas held a special assembly program in the gym Wednesday afternoon, in honor of the selection of the Cardinal Bergoglio.

There was running in the halls, talking and happy squealing during class and at least one mass student walkout during a test Wednesday—all completely acceptable behavior at the Catholic Seton School—at least when a new pope is announced. The College of Cardinals at the Vatican in Rome selected Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio, of Argentina, as the Roman Catholic Church new pope. The selection was made, shortly after 2 p.m. Wednesday (a little after 7 p.m. in Rome). Bergoglio selected the name Pope Francis. Normally a calm, layman-run Catholic school in Manassas, Seton was abuzz with activity when news of the new pope spread through the small student body of 350 pupils. Seton Teacher Accused of Sending Sexually Explicit Texts to Student

A Seton School teacher has been charged with attempting to engage in an inappropriate relationship with a 15-year-old student.

A Seton School teacher has been charged with attempting to carry on an inappropriate relationship with a student, according to Manassas City Police. Zachary Jude See, 23, of 4605 Fillingame Dr. in Chantilly, was arrested April 2 and charged with one count of attempting to engage in indecent liberties with a minor. Parents of the 15-year-old victim met with investigators on March 27 regarding possible inappropriate activity between their child and the child's teacher at Seton School in Old Town Manassas, according to Sgt. Eddie Rivera with the Manassas City Police Department.
