BadWolf Brewery Grand Opening is Wednesday

Brew masters at Manassas' first nano-brewery have been preparing opening day beers and ales for more than a week.

Business license? Check. ABC license? Check. Permits? Check. BadWolf Brewery is in business.

Manassas' first nano brewery is set to open on Wednesday, just in time to be the perfect place to cash in those rain checks on Father's Day bonding.

Doors open at 4 p.m. and will stay open until 9 p.m.—or until the beer runs out, Jeremy Meyers, BadWolf owner and brew master said this week.

He and his assistant brew masters, Ryan McLeod and Bryan Bell, have been preparing batches of the good stuff for several days and intend to have saison, golden ale, ESB and india dark ale on tap, among other choices.

The brewery will not have a food menu, only popcorn, but customers are welcome to bring their own eats, Meyers said.

BadWolf brews are also available for take out in growlers.

Meyers and his wife Sarah said they intended to open earlier this year, but suffered a major setback after being scammed by a con man.

BadWolf is located just outside of Old Town Manassas at 9776 Center St. in a shopping plaza the intersection of Cockrell Road.
