Manassas Dealership Roof Collapses During Thunderstorm

Authorities are still trying to determine what caused the roof of a Manassas business to collapse Friday afternoon during a thunderstorm, Manassas Volunteer Fire Company Chief Matt Lausch said.

The roof of the Manassas Hyundai Dealership on Centreville Road near the Prince William County line collapsed around 6:30 p.m., but it is not yet clear if the damage was caused by the storm, the chief said.

Firefighters said one person was injured.  Firefighters will likely turn the case over to city inspectors who can determine what caused the collapse.
