Retired Manassas Park Firefighter Buried This Week

Retired Manassas Park firefighter John Michael “Viggi” Viggiano was laid to rest Wednesday in the Manassas City Cemetery. 

Viggiano died suddenly on Sept. 29 at the age of 54.  The lifelong resident of Manassas Park, served as a member of the city's fire department for 31 years, according to an obituary issued by Baker-Post Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Manassas, the company that handled Viggiano's final arrangements. 

He leaves behind a daughter, Mary Frances Scott, a step-daughter, Mandy (Rick) Davis, a step-grandson,Tristin, a sister, Patricia A.Viggiano-Ford , a brother, Joesph P. Viggiano and many nephews and nieces.
