The family living there managed to escape relatively unharmed because they were warned by the fire alarm that sounded inside the house, fire officials said. relatively One adult suffered minored injuries, but was treated at the scene and later released. In all, two adults and a child were displaced by the fire, which caused about $40,000 in damage.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
