Manassas Police Release Sketch of Threatening Note Suspect

Police said about 20 notes over a three month period have been left around the city of Manassas.

Manassas Police have released an artist's sketch of the man who has reportedly left about 20 threatening notes around the city of Manassas and surrounding areas.

Police said notes about someone have been left at homes around the city, particular those in the Sumner Lake subdivision, just off Liberia Avenue.

The bizarre thing about the notes is, they aren't about anybody living in the targeted homes, police said.

The residents of the homes don't even know the person named in the note.

The subject of the notes hasn't himself been threatened or harm, Manassas Police Sgt. Lowell Nevill said in an earlier report.
