Police: Man Posed as Acquaintance Online to Solicit 15-Year-Old

A Manassas area man posed as an acquaintance online to solicit a 15-year-old girl, Prince William County Police said. 

Nathan Allen Allison, 19, of Newton Place, is charged with indecent liberties and use of a communication device to facilitate certain offenses involving children.

Detectives from the Special Victims Unit began an investigation into the incident on July 6. They found that Allison, who is an acquaintance of the girl, solicited her via an online website, using the identity of another acquaintance to trick her, said police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok. 

Allison is held without bond pending his court date.
