Police: Man Struck Fiesta Supermarket Employee in the Head

The employee may have suffered a concussion, Manassas City Police said.

Officers are searching for a man who assaulted a Fiesta Supermarket employee last week, according to police spokesman Lowell Nevill. 

The 61-year-old male employee may have suffered a concussion after he was struck in the head by the man (identified as suspect #1 in the photograph) around 2 p.m. July 31, Nevill said. 

Nevill said that the three men in the photo were involved in an altercation with the employee before the assault. They were last seen walking through the breezeway towards Portner Avenue. 

Police ask anyone with information to contact Officer Villanueva at 703-257-8105 or Rosi Guyton at rguyton@manassasva.gov. Manassas City Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information may call the confidential 24-hour tip line at 703-330-0330.
