Suspects grab one register and damage another, according to Prince William County Police.

Two businesses were burglarized within two blocks of each other this week in the Sudley Road area near Manassas, according to Prince William County Police.

At 12:20 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to the Sloper's Stitch House at 10560 Associated Court regarding an alarm activation. Officers arrived to find the front glass window broken out.

No suspects were found in the business, but a cash register with an undisclosed amount of cash was reported missing.

Just after midnight Thursday morning, officers responded to the Merchant's Tire at 7880 Sudley Road, less than two blocks north from the Wednesday incident. Again police were called due to an alarm activation.

In this case, the glass on a garage door had been broken out. A cash register had been found damaged, but not stolen. No property was reported missing.
